How to Change the Preloader Text
Step 1 — Open the Preloader
- Open your project in Webflow Designer.
- Open the Navigator on the left panel.
- Find the
preload_text_wrapperelement.
Step 2 — Select the Text
- Click on the text element you want to edit.
- In the right panel, open Settings.
Step 3 — Edit the Text
- Find the Text field.
- Replace “Veranda” with your own brand name or preferred text.
Example:
"Veranda" → "Your Brand"
How to Temporarily Disable the Preloader
The preloader covers the entire page while it is active. If you need to access or edit other content behind the preloader, you can temporarily disable it.
Step 1 — Select the Preloader Background
- Open the Navigator on the left panel.
- Find and select the
preload-backgroundelement.
Step 2 — Disable the Preloader
- Open the Style panel.
- Find the Display setting.
- Set Display to
None.
The preloader will now be hidden, allowing you to access and edit the content behind it.
Step 3 — Make Your Changes
Make any necessary changes to the page content while the preloader is disabled.
Step 4 — Re-enable the Preloader
Once you have finished editing:
- Select the
preload-backgroundelement again. - Set Display back to its original value.
⚠️ Important:
Remember to re-enable the preloader before publishing your site.
